For more than 30 years, Al has been instrumental in successfully managing business process improvements in complex organizations. His roles have ranged from Industrial Engineer through Superintendent in the paper industry, divisional Manufacturing Manager for Evans Products and President of a semi-conductor industry supplier. For the last 8 years, Al has been a Senior Consultant with SAI Global.

His current work is with organizations that are applying ISO 9000 and ISO 9000-based quality management systems (including QS-9000, TS 16949 and TL 9000), as well as integrated ISO 9000 and ISO 14000 quality management systems, to improve their business processes.

Credentials
Al received his BS in Civil engineering from the University of Alberta and his MBA from Southern Illinois University. He has served as a Senior Examiner for the Oregon Quality Award, is an RAB certified Quality Systems Lead Auditor, is a member of ASQ and has been an adjunct instructor for the Oregon Institute of Technology.
