Dawn Henderlight
Background
Dawn's career in environmental, health & safety, transportation and quality management includes assignments as an EHS & Transportation Compliance Manager and Industrial/Environmental Engineer. In these positions she has developed thorough skills and knowledge in the areas of compliance program development and training delivery.
Prior to joining SAI Global, Dawn was a Management Systems Consultant for Quality Compliance. In this role, she provided services in the ISO 14000/ISO 9000 arena through registration audits, lead auditor course instruction and implementation consultation.
Dawn previously acted as EHS Specialist for Lamar Dunn & Associates providing engineering services to utilities, industry and government and also served as a Compliance Manager for a hazardous waste TSDF with Laidlaw Environmental Services, Inc.
Specialties
Dawn's background has provided her with valuable experience in key areas that make her an asset to SAI Global's customers. She is an active registrar EMS Lead Auditor and OHSMS Auditor. She has seen Quality and Environmental, Health and Safety Management Systems from the perspective of both Environmental Engineering and training instructor, affording her a unique view of system requirements and how to satisfy them realistically. She also provided transportation oversight to Department of Energy and has worked with ground, air and rail transportation compliance assignments.
Credentials
Dawn received her BS from Clemson University as an industrial engineer. She is a RABQSA Certified EMS Lead Auditor, Certified Hazardous Materials Manager, Past Director for the National Board of ACHMM and American Society of Safety Engineers Member. In addition, Dawn has been an authorized Federal OSHA 10/30-hour General Industry Outreach Instructor and Certified Environmental Trainer.
